Lattice
When viewed individually, small objects can appear to be insignificant. However, when many are placed together, their context and interpretation changes. This work responds to this notion. It draws attention to the small object and allows the viewer to see it differently. Various spaces in the gallery are filled with small rolls of masking tape, which create a complex lattice structure that draws attention to the spaces they occupy.
